The Sales and Customer Service Associate is responsible for a wide and diverse range of activities related to the customer lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inquiries (via calls, email, chat) from both new and existing customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Assist prospects with finding the best hosting solution for their needs.
  • Vet customer orders which require additional manual verification.
  • Guide new and existing customers through the buying/upgrade/downgrade process.
  • Assist customers with billing, account management and service inquiries.
  • Proactively identify customer issues and up-sell opportunities.
  • Follow-up on cancellations and look for opportunities to reduce churn.
  • Create occasional customer surveys and follow-up on customer feedback.
  • Look for opportunities to drive process improvements and improve customer experience.
  • Work closely with our technical engineers to find the best solutions for our customers.
  • Stay up to date with industry-related news.

Requirements:

  • Web Hosting Experience – you must have a minimum of one (1) year of previous experience in the web hosting industry or at a tech/software development company. Familiarity with basic web hosting concepts is REQUIRED for this position.
  • Help Desk Software – experience working with a help desk software (Kayako/SupportPal/Zendesk etc.) is a plus.
  • Multi-Tasking Abilities – you must be able to multitask; you will be working across multiple departments and be responsible for diverse daily tasks and occasional projects.
  • Reliable Internet Connection – you must have a high-speed internet connection.
  • Equipment and Work Space – all applicants must provide their own computer and have a quiet work space.

Bonus points:

  • Experience working with WHMCS is a plus
  • Previous experience working with an international customer base is a plus
  • Ability to write blog posts/help desks articles is a plus
  • Social media management/content creation is a plus
