A forex VPS is a Windows virtual private server hosted in a data center that runs your trading platform, such as MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5, 24 hours a day. Your Expert Advisors keep trading when your computer is off, asleep, or offline, and you connect to it from any PC, Mac, or phone through Remote Desktop.
If your EA needs to trade while you are away, yes. An EA only works while its terminal is open and connected, so a laptop that sleeps, restarts for updates, or loses Wi-Fi stops your strategy. Trailing stops and custom exit logic also run in the terminal, not at your broker, so they stop too. A forex VPS keeps the terminal running through the whole trading week.
Any Windows trading platform, including MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and NinjaTrader, plus trade copiers, custom indicators, and Python trading scripts. You get full Administrator rights, so you install and run whatever your strategy needs.
Windows Server 2022 and Windows Server 2025, with 2019 available on request. We do not offer end-of-life versions such as 2008 or 2012, because they no longer receive security updates and modern trading platforms are dropping support for them.
As a guide: FX Starter runs one terminal with a light EA, FX Trader 1-3, FX Pro 3-6, FX Multi-Account 6-12, and FX Trading Desk 12-25. Real capacity depends on how many charts, indicators, and EAs each terminal loads. You can upgrade CPU, RAM, and storage at any time without rebuilding your VPS.
FX Starter handles one terminal with a light EA. If you run several charts, a heavier EA, or accounts with two brokers, FX Trader gives more headroom for Windows and your platform. Serious multi-account traders usually start at FX Pro.
Standard plans run in the USA (Denver and Chicago), the UK (London), and Singapore. On request we also provide servers in our UAE data center and managed instances on AWS, in the region closest to your broker.
Pick the location closest to your broker's trading server, not closest to you. Many forex brokers run their trading servers in London, so our London VPS suits most traders. US and Asia-based brokers are better served from Chicago or Singapore, and AWS lets us place a server in almost any major financial region.
Yes. Send us your broker's server name from your MT4 or MT5 login screen, and we will measure latency from each of our locations and recommend the best fit before you order.
Command Secure is the security layer of SoftSys Command, our AI operations platform, and it is included on every Forex VPS. It blocks RDP brute-force attacks automatically, applies one-click Windows hardening, explains Windows Defender findings and daily CVE scans in plain English, and alerts you if your server goes offline or runs short of resources.
Command Secure watches Windows sign-in activity, detects IP addresses guessing passwords, and blocks them automatically in a single firewall rule with automatic expiry. You can allow-list your own IPs, block entire countries you never trade from, and it will not block an address with an active Remote Desktop session, so you do not lock yourself out.

On Managed Forex VPS our engineers apply updates in weekend maintenance windows while markets are closed, with a preview beforehand and one-click rollback if needed.
