I was in the market for creating a development environment for Window. I spoke pre-sales and questions were answered in full. After ordering my 3 vps' were set up instantly and within 10 minutes my vpn was ready to go. So far support for sales and tech-support have been awesome. I am looking forward to doing more business with SoftSys. Entirely a 180 from what I had from 2 previous hosts. I strongly recommend SoftSys for hosting space. I found them to be the best hosting company I have used yet. You can use Microsoft web platform installer which made Umbraco installations easier than ever. When I had an issue with the transaction log of my database, they fixed it and replied in 5 minutes flat, also setting my database up to prevent the issue reoccurring. Great value too, especially considering this is a Microsoft solution with .net 4 and a SQL Server database. The control panel is much easier to use than others I have come across in the past. Highly recommended!

I work for a company building and maintaining an Enterprise Level content management system. To keep on top of my game I like to look at open source content management systems to see what the industry is doing. Softsys is not only affordable but their customer service is damn near instantaneous 24/7. I took the Softsys Hosting Service and I had some problems when instaling Web Application. 5 times I submit a ticket during the weekend and even on Sunday overnight. SoftSys Hosting is fantastic. I came from GoDaddy and it feels like coming from a cave to a bright world. GoDaddy didn't allow remote DB access, remote SMTP access, had medium level trust on any ASP framework above 1.1 and every time you contacted support, not only did they take their sweet time getting back to you, but it was usually by a different person every time who didn't know what was going on. Plus, they always made you jump through hoops to get help, like pin numbers and such. And I'm pretty sure most of their staff is technilogically retarded; they rarely have any idea what I'm talking about and usually just say it can't be done or it's not their fault. You guys are quick, easy to use, nice portal, excellent transparency and all the right privileges. Suffice it to say, I'm glad I switched :-).

I've only had a few experiences with shared hosting sites. Each have had their attributes and problems. I've recently left a nightmare situation with a hosting provider. I wouldn't normally name names, but it rhymes with webhost4wife. One word...Abysmal. They completely fubar-ed my entire collection of sites and databases when they "transitioned" me to their new platform. Good riddance. Enter SoftSysHosting...These guys have been great. I've only had 2 minor issues deploying my sites and databases, but each one has been handled in terms of minutes...not hours or days. I log an issue and literally 15 minutes later, I have a solution. I just signed up with softsys on a windows hosting package. I shopped around looking for a decent host that supported the installation of the Umbraco CMS. The pricing was excellent, and the hosting environment offered me the latest versions of everything I needed. My account and hosting space was set up less than ten minutes after I submitted my order, and this was friday evening of a US holiday weekend. I had a couple of configuration questions when I installed the CMS (my first time installing it on a shared host) and the support team was incredibly quick, responsive, and really went the extra mile to help me out. Having managed a hosting company for 7 years I had a fair amount of experience with control panels and the like so SoftSys's panel and tools were right up my ally. They all worked out of the box with no issues at all. Beyond that, and even more importantly, when I had a question or couldn't get something to work their support folks were right on top of my issues and were very personable and quick to help. This is a true rarity in the budget hosting business so it was much appreciated. Additionally, the support folks actually read the support ticket, and analyzed what I was asking for rather than typing a couple keywords into a decision support system and sending me a link. THANK YOU! The last thing which is a little good and a little bad was that two weeks after I had my Wordpress blog setup in MySQL the database completely bombed out. No changes on my part it just got corrupted. I submitted a ticket, and while it took a couple days to get everything figured out they went out of their way to figure out what happened and then restored the database to the last known good copy at no charge whatsoever. If SoftSys can keep this up long term they'll be my hosting partner for a long time!

So Far ... So Amazing! Everything as advertized. Incredibly responsive support! (am I just getting lucky or does their team always get back to you in 5 minutes or less?). Within minutes of whipping out my credit card to sign up, I had a detailed welcome guide waiting in my inbox complete with IP address and logons for RDP, the Web Management Panel, SQL Server ... everything! Love the VPS concept - I connect with Remote Desktop and I own the server! I can host multiple web sites, install anything, directly configure IIS. Better than a dedicated box because I can start affordably and then add addition IPs, RAM, and Virtual Processors as needed. I compared other popular "Discount" ASP.NET solutions, but they charge insane amounts for disk space on a shared solution. I need lots of disk space because I'll be serving multimedia educational applications. With my SoftSys VPS, I've got 40 gig right out of the gates -- with the option to add more as needed. The Windows 2008 Server R2 Enterprise edition lets me host cutting edge technology: Silverlight 4 with WCF RIA Services 1.0, .NET Framework 4, Web Deploy one click publishing directly from VS 2010, SQL Server 2008 R2 Express. new IIS Smooth Streaming for delivering dynamically adaptive video streams. I woke up in Australia to find an authentication issue with one of my hosted databases I use for remote connections. Myself Prasad, from India. I was a newbie in website world when I took the service of Softsys hosting. That too, my website was a bit complex with .NET, AJAX and configuration stuff. Softsys genuinely helped me a lot to overcome troubles I came across for proper functioning of my portal. Due to outage, for couple of hours softsys's service was not available but in return they gave few grace days than allocated days. 2. Softsys has been an awesome host. I've been in this business for 10 years and have used dozens of Windows hosts. By far Softsys has been the most reliable. Support is compentent and fast. Most issues are resolved in an hour or less. I haven't had any big problems but they have been fast and friendly responding to my 30+ support tickets. Bottom line is they offer reliablity, good support, and a good set of features at a decent price. I've had a reseller account for a year and a half now and am perfectly happy. Might even consider a VPS if business keeps going the way it has.

I have used 4 other hosting services. I moved off of them when my websites went down and the provider dragged their feet in fixing the issue. After about two years of being with them, I almost forget they exists because the service is good. The ftp service is much faster than the old service. The price is good. Rick is doing a heap of a job with SoftSys.

I was pleasantly surprised after I signed up with Softsys Hosting. As a web developer, I have been through a number of hosting companies and have never been as satisfied as I am with this one. While their prices are very reasonable, the greatest benefit I have found is the customer service. I always get a response in less than an hour and many times a resolution as well. You could do far worse that going with Softsys, but I doubt you could do any better.

You first look at the pricing for softsys hosting and intially come to the conculsion that its "too good to be true". However after being with this company for just under a year now I am so happy I made the choice. I have about 20 websites running Umbraco as a reseller and have never had any issues. They answer my helpdesk tickets in super efficient time and keep everyone well informed of scheduled maintenance. I can't actually think of a time when the website has been down. Support was quick and effective. I needed help with a third party product (SmarterMail) that came with my VPS account. I submitted my support request late in the evening and had a response within a couple hours. Not a canned response with cryptic instructions... they fixed the issue and provided detailed instructions about the fix so that I could take care of it myself next time. I am so used to other hosts that send back a "not our problem" canned response that this was a breath of fresh air. It doesn't get easier than working with Softsys.
